Building on a Dream

I firmly believe that when you are given a vision or feel a creative tug that just simply won't go away, you should act on it and see what unfolds. As I sat outside last September under the Maple trees, watching them slowly release their leaves in the warm Autumn breeze, I took inventory of all the resources I have available to me that I can use to make this vision become a reality. I have full, healthy beehives, a large and productive garden, and a knack for craftiness. So I set about designing the gifts that I want to offer, building the studio in which to make them, and researching techniques that would help me turn out quality pieces, oftentimes, visiting local artisans to learn secrets of the trade. With the love and support of my friends, family and fur babies, I am finally able to see this vision come to life. I hope you enjoy these gifts as much as I enjoy making them, and please, spread the word!
